About Me

Isaac Newton Acquah is an enabler in the African start-up ecosystem with over 10 years of experience in business development with a focus on strategy, structure, media and marketing. He serves as the National Project Coordinator for Ghana of the Netherlands Trust Fund V Project implemented by the International Trade Centre. In this capacity, he provides technical assistance to 20 tech start-ups and 18 IT BPO companies to enable them to scale and internationalize.

Isaac co-founded The Innovation Spark, an innovation consulting agency that focuses on supporting clients with ideation, managing their innovation aspirations and leading project implementation. His passion for web3 and advisory to the founders led him to be a founding member of FTW DAO. Outside of the startup ecosystem, during the last 7 years he has also worked for Action Chapel International, Dominion Television and the inaugural Intra Africa Trade Fair Initiative.

As a seasoned coach including sports (basketball, rugby) and business Isaac Newton engages in multiple capacity development programs ranging from corporate retreats, company in house training and leadership programs. This has led him to work with the entrepreneurship ecosystem (Ghana Tech Lab, Ghana Innovation Hub, MEST, Kumasi Hive), universities (CEIBS, Regent University) and project partners such as GIZ, UNFPA and who have sought him to provide value in their initiatives.

He has several research papers published with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Technology Management Council (IEEE TMC) on big data, semantic networking and problem-solving. He is also an executive producer and investor in various creative arts projects including movies, music and fashion.
